Lower Insertion Loss

Lower insertion loss makes FWDM devices have lower signal attenuation when used in WDMsystems,which reduces the power requirementfor signal transmitters.

The high isolation makes FWDM device use in the WDM system to isolate the signals adequately when transmitting multiple signals, and effectively prevent the signal from being distorted due to the crosstalk between the signals.

FWDM devices are mainly used in passive wavelength division multiplexing system module products, It features wide channel bandwidth, low insertion loss, high channel isolation, high environmental stability and reliability, and is mostly used for fiber network service upgrades, capacity expansion, etc. FWDM can MUX or DEMUX two or more optical signals of different wavelengths in a single wider wavelength range channel, satisfying the requirement of providing different rates on a single optical fiber.
